Day 1: Arrival in Lima – City Tour

Upon arrival at Lima Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. At 12:30 PM, enjoy a 4-hour guided city tour that explores historic landmarks such as Plaza San Martín, Jirón de la Unión Boulevard, and Plaza de Armas. Visit the San Francisco Monastery, renowned for its Baroque architecture, and delve into history with a visit to the Catacombs beneath the monastery.

Day 2: Lima – Paracas – Ballestas Islands – Paracas Reserve – Ica – Huacachina Sandboarding

Starting early at 3:30 AM, we travel to Paracas for a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, home to Humboldt penguins and a variety of other marine life. Afterward, explore the Huacachina Oasis and enjoy an exciting dune buggy ride and sandboarding. Overnight in Ica.

Day 3: Flight to Nazca – Arequipa

After breakfast, take a flight over the Nazca Lines, one of Peru’s most intriguing archaeological mysteries. Enjoy free time, then begin your overnight journey to Arequipa.

Day 4: City Tour of Arequipa

Arrive in Arequipa, and after breakfast, embark on a guided tour through its colonial heart, visiting Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, and the Church of the Company. Explore the Jesuit temple and learn about Arequipa’s unique cultural heritage.

Day 5: Colca Canyon – “Cross of the Condor” – Arequipa to Puno

Early morning trip to the “Cross of the Condor,” where you’ll witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor. Explore traditional Andean villages such as Yanque and Coporaque before heading to Puno for the night.

Day 6: Puno – Lake Titicaca – Uros Floating Islands and Taquile – Arrival in Cusco

Take a boat ride on Lake Titicaca, visiting the Uros Floating Islands, made of reeds, and the traditional island of Taquile, famous for its customs and hand-woven textiles. In the evening, travel to Cusco.

Day 7: Valle Sur – Route of the Sun – Cusco

Travel to Cusco via the Route of the Sun, stopping at ancient sites such as Pucará, Raqchi, and Andahuaylillas. Arrive in Cusco for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Cusco City Tour

Explore Cusco’s rich history, including the Santo Domingo Convent and the Qorikancha, the Temple of the Sun. Visit the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.

Day 9: VIP Sacred Valley

Visit the colonial city of Chinchero, the archaeological sites of Maras, Moray, and the Salineras salt mines. Continue to Urubamba for a buffet lunch before exploring Ollantaytambo and Pisac, ancient Inca towns with remarkable ruins and beautiful temples.

Day 10: Cusco – Mountain of Colors Vinicunca

Start early and travel to the village of Pitumarca, then embark on a 3-hour hike to the Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain). After lunch, return to Cusco.

Day 11: Cusco – Humantay Lagoon – Salkantaypampa Base Camp

After breakfast, begin the hike to Humantay Lagoon, located at 4200 meters above sea level. Continue to Salkantaypampa base camp, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped Salkantay mountain, tea, and a delicious dinner.

Day 12: Camp Salkantay Pampa – Chaullay

Reach the highest point of the Salkantay Pass at 4600 meters before descending to Wayrac Machaq for lunch. Continue to the high jungle, where you’ll admire lush trees, bromeliads, and orchids. Stay overnight at the second campsite.

Day 13: Chaullay – Lucmabamba

Hike through the cloud forest and see stunning landscapes of rivers and waterfalls. After lunch, continue to Lucmabamba, where you can enjoy activities at the coffee plantations.

Day 14: Lucmabamba – Llactapata – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes

Hike to Llactapata for panoramic views of Machu Picchu, then walk downhill to the Hydroelectric area. Enjoy lunch before walking to Aguas Calientes for an overnight stay.

Day 15: Machu Picchu – Cusco

Visit Machu Picchu with a guided tour of the iconic site. Afterward, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and return by train to Ollantaytambo, then transfer to Cusco.

Day 16: Gastronomic Experience

In the morning, enjoy a hands-on experience preparing a traditional Peruvian dish with a chef. In the evening, board an interprovincial tourist bus to Puerto Maldonado.

Day 17: Tambopata Amazon Mount

Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, transfer to the Monte Amazónico Lodge. Take a two-hour walk through the tropical rainforest and explore the diverse flora and fauna. Visit Monkey Island and observe the wildlife.

Day 18: Tambopata National Reserve – Puerto Maldonado

Take a boat ride on Lake Sandoval to observe the rich wildlife, including giant otters and alligators. In the afternoon, return to Puerto Maldonado for your transfer back to the city.

Day 19: End of Tour

Transfer to the airport for your flight from Puerto Maldonado to Lima, marking the end of your tour.
